Privacy policy

This covers this website. It's short because the site does very little. Right now the only thing it collects is an email address you choose to give us.

What we collect

Your email address, if you type it into the waitlist form. That's it. We don't ask for your name, and we don't ask you anything about your health on this website.

We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

To tell you when the app is ready, and occasionally to share what we've found in the research. Nothing else. We won't send you anything you didn't ask for.

Who else sees it

The waitlist form is handled by Formspree, which receives your submission and passes it to us. They process it under their own privacy policy. We don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until the waitlist has served its purpose, or you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Getting removed

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can write to us at any time to be taken off the list entirely. We'll delete your address rather than mark it inactive. You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we'll tell you.

The app

What you write inside the HabreCare app (your check-ins, your journal, what you put in the jars) is a different matter with stricter handling, and it will have its own policy published before the app ships. This page will link to it then.

Children

This site isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant and we have your email, we'll tell you directly.
